GULFPORT, MS, UNITED STATES, March 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Campus and Industry Partnerships: Veterinarian at Alliance Animal Health Empowers Early-Career Veterinarians Through Innovation and Leadership
Madeline Zurowsky, DVM, CVBL, affectionately known as Dr. Z, is an energetic small animal veterinarian and Campus and Industry Partnerships Veterinarian at Alliance Animal Health. With more than a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, Dr. Zurowsky has built a dynamic career that bridges clinical excellence, mentorship, and educational leadership—helping shape the next generation of veterinary professionals.
In her current role, Dr. Zurowsky travels nationwide recruiting veterinary students, leading hands-on surgical workshops, and delivering professional development programs designed to prepare new graduates for confident, competent clinical practice. She is also the creator of VetPop!, a unique monthly pop-music-themed workshop series that transforms continuing education into an engaging and memorable experience for students and young veterinarians.
Before joining Alliance Animal Health, Dr. Zurowsky practiced small animal medicine at Carolina Ranch Animal Hospital and Resort in North Carolina. There, she specialized in general surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine, while also developing comprehensive training programs for veterinary technicians and assistants. Her focus on client communication, pain management, and staff education strengthened both patient outcomes and team performance. Her transition into a hybrid educational and corporate leadership role was inspired by the flexibility needed to support her husband’s military service and her desire to expand her impact across the veterinary profession.
A lifelong learner and servant leader, Dr. Zurowsky earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Clemson University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is certified as a Veterinary Business Leader through the North American Veterinary Community and is an active member of multiple professional veterinary associations.
Her accolades include the DOCS Clinical Proficiency Award, Friends of the NCVMA Award, DARE Leadership Award, Daughters of the American Revolution Young Leader Award, and the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizenship Award—recognitions that reflect both clinical skill and leadership excellence.
Dedicated to addressing workforce challenges and reducing burnout, Dr. Zurowsky is committed to building strong mentorship networks and supporting veterinarians during their most formative years. She can be reached at drz@mzconsulting.com.
When not traveling or working, Dr. Zurowsky enjoys attending concerts, cheering on her favorite sports teams, golfing with her husband, and capturing selfies with her two beloved Corgis, Middleton “Mids” and Paddington “Pads.”
