The celebratory evening honored a decade of impact for the nonprofit across Palm Beach County schools. In attendance were community leaders, educators, philanthropists, and longtime supporters, who gathered to champion Roots and Wings’ mission of strengthening literacy outcomes and recognizing exceptional teachers.

Enthusiastic participation helped propel fundraising efforts beyond expectations.
Since its founding in 2016, Roots and Wings has steadily expanded its reach, now collaborating with 20 Title 1 schools and serving approximately 1,600 students through targeted literacy programming and teacher recognition initiatives. The funds raised will directly support Project UpLift’s small-group tutoring model and the continued growth of The Above and Beyond Awards.
