BRAMPTON, ONTARIO, CANADA, March 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Ontario Schools Cricket Association (OSCA) will host the OSCA Cricket-Ed Forum 2026 on Saturday, March 7 from 9:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Save Max Sports Centre, 1495 Sandalwood Parkway East in Brampton, bringing together student cricketers, families, educators, and community leaders for a morning celebrating youth achievement, education, and healthy active living.
The forum marks the culmination of OSCA’s Winter Recreational Cricket Program and recognizes students aged 5 to 17+ for their dedication to teamwork, leadership, and personal development through sport.
Throughout the morning, students will participate in interactive cricket sessions alongside STEMM learning experiences delivered by community partners. Activities will include robotics engagement through FIRST Canada, mental wellness awareness led by CMHA Dufferin-Peel, cyber safety education from Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst at Toronto Metropolitan University, and financial literacy learning sessions delivered by TD Bank Group.
Adding to the excitement, students will be welcomed earlier in the morning by ACE, the mascot of the Toronto Blue Jays, whose visit highlights the shared spirit between cricket and baseball and celebrates the importance of multi-sport opportunities for young people.
Special guests attending the forum include Mayor Patrick Brown, Hon. Graham McGregor, Minister of Citizenship & Multiculturalism, education leaders, community partners, and supporters of youth sport and education.
The OSCA Cricket-Ed Forum reflects the organization’s commitment to developing not only skilled cricketers, but confident, informed, and resilient young people by connecting sport with education, mental wellness, and community engagement.
